Archive & Restore Classes

Administrators have the ability to archive and restore classes. In the past, administrators have had to contact our support team to have these archived classes restored. 

When a class is archived by an Administrator, the students and the teacher are automatically disconnected from the class and Administrators will no longer see the class listed in their active classes list. The nice thing is that, within the same academic school year, you can restore these archived classes. When a class is restored, the students and the teacher are added back to the class automatically and the assignments and grades are restored for those students as well.
Note: If students are removed from a class by an Administrator before it was archived, they will not be automatically added back to a restored class.

To Archive a Class:

1. Login to MySchoolWorx
2. Click on the Class icon
3. Search for the class you want to archive
4. Click on the blue trash can in the bottom right corner of the class box
5. Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
6. Done

To Restore a Class

1. Login to MySchoolWorx
2. Click on the Class icon
3. Use the Filter drop down menu on the right and select "Archived Classes"
4. Click on the opened trash can in the bottom right corner of the class box
5. Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
6. Done
