Archive, Restore & Delete Teacher Accounts

Administrators have the ability to archive and restore MySchoolWorx teacher accounts. In the past, administrators have had to contact our support team to have these archived teachers restored. 

When a teacher account is archived by an Administrator, they are disconnected from all of the classes they teach, Administrators will no longer see these teachers listed in their active teacher list and the teacher will no longer be able to log into MySchoolWorx. The nice thing is that you can restore these archived teachers, if you accidentally archive a teacher.

Also, from the "Archived" techer page, you have the ability to permanently delete a teacher account. When a teacher account is permanently deleted, their email is cleared to use for another MySchoolWorx account.

The guide and images below will help you archive, restore and permanently delete a teacher account:

To Archive a Teacher Account:

  1. Login to MySchoolWorx
  2. Hover over the Users icon and click Teacher
  3. Make sure you are viewing "Active Teachers" in the drop down filter to the right (see image below)
  4. Click on the blue trash can to the right of the teacher's name
    Note:  If you see a red "X" this indicates that this teacher isn't connected to any classes. If you click on the red "X", this will permanently delete the teacher's account.
  5. Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
  6. Done

To Restore a Teacher Account

  1. Login to MySchoolWorx
  2. Hover over the Users icon and click Teacher
  3. Use the Filter drop down menu on the right to view "Archived Teachers" (see image below)
  4. Click on the opened trash can to the right of the teacher's name
  5. Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
  6. Done

To Permanently Delete a Teacher Account

  1. Login to MySchoolWorx
  2. Hover over the Users icon and click Teacher
    Note:  Permanently deleting a teacher can be done from either the "Active" or "Archived" teacher view.
  3. Click on the red "X" to the right of the teacher's name
    Note:  If you see a blue trash can this indicates that the teacher is connected to classes. If you click on the blue trash can, this will archive the teacher's account giving you the ability to restore this teacher from the "archived" list in the future.
  4. Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
  5. Done
