Archive, Restore & Delete Parent Accounts
Administrators have the ability to archive and restore MySchoolWorx parent accounts. In the past, administrators have had to contact our support team to have these archived parents restored.
When a parent account is archived by an Administrator, they are disconnected from their children, Administrators will no longer see these parents listed in their active parent list and the parent will no longer be able to log into MySchoolWorx. The nice thing is that you can restore these archived parents, if you accidentally archive a parent or a family returns to the school at a later date.
Also, from the "Archived" parent page, you have the ability to permanently delete a parent account. When a parent account is permanently deleted, their email is cleared for use for another MySchoolWorx account.
The guide and images below will help you archive, restore and delete a parent account:
To Archive a Parent Account:
- Login to MySchoolWorx
- Hover over the Users icon and click Parent
- Make sure you are viewing "Active Parents" in the drop down filter to the right
- Click on the blue trash can to the right of the parent's name
Note: If you see a red "X" this indicates that this parent isn't connected to any student. If you click on it, this will permanently delete the parent's account. - Click OK when prompted by the pop up window
- Done
