Message Alerts

One of the many Alerts MySchoolWorx makes available to all of its users is the Message Alert. When turned on, this alert sends an alert to the users account within MySchoolWorx and can be viewed by clicking on the Alert icon at the top. The number of unread messages can be seen in a small red circle by the Alert icon on any screen.

How to Turn On or Off Message Alerts
  1. Login to MySchoolWorx
  2. Click on the Alert icon
  3. Select Messages on the lower left
  4. Check to begin receiving Message alerts or Uncheck to stop receiving Message alerts
  5. Click "Subscribe Alerts" to save your changes

If the email Alert option has been turned on (as seen in the image below), an emailed Message Alert is also sent to the external email account of the email address used to log in to MySchoolWorx. 

How to Turn On or Off Emailed Alerts (this will send alert notifications to your external email account's inbox)
  1. Login to MySchoolWorx
  2. Click on the Alert icon
  3. Select Settings on the left
  4. Check or Uncheck Email
  5. Click "Subscribe Alerts" to save your changes

Within this emailed Message Alert you can see the Subject of the message and the actual Message can be read as well. See the example below. We have added links for you to be taken to the log in page to reply to the Message, to email the Support Team and to this article.

All emailed Alerts are "No Reply" emails. Any reply to an alert goes to the support team at MySchoolWorx and not the the sender of original message. To reply to a Message it is necessary to log into MySchoolWorx and send the reply from the Message center.
