File Management for Assignments
This feature allows teachers and administrators to access and download files submitted by students and/or parents for each individual assignment. When adding or editing an assignment, a teacher must turn on the ability for students to submit files to that assignment. Teachers and administrators have the ability to download all of the files at one time for all students who have submitted assignments for one assignment, download all files from one student at one time for one assignment or files can be downloaded one-by-one per student for an assignment.
How to allow files to be submitted for an assignment
- Once logged in, select a class
- Add or Edit an assignment
- Check the box titled "Allow Assignment Submission"
-
Use the dropdown menu that appeared when the Allow Assignment Submission box was checked and set how many times a student will be able to submit for the assignment being added/edited.
-
Save the assignment changes
- Students (and Parents, if the administration has allowed this for the student's grade level) will now have the ability to submit (upload) files directly to this assignment.
Note: Once any student has submitted successfully to an assignment, the option to turn off "Allow Assignment Submission" for an assignment cannot be turned off.
