Add Files to a Student's Record
Administrators have the ability to record specific details and attach files to the record of a student. Administrators also have the ability to choose whether or not they want teachers to have access to these details and files. (Note: By default, student files are NOT available for teachers to access, read, download or edit) Below you will find how, as an Administrator, to add files to a student's record and how to manage access to those same files.
How to Add Files to a Student's Record
- Login to MySchoolWorx as an Administrator
- Hover over the Users icon and click Student
- Click Resources in the left menu
- From this page, you can:
- Add text using the text editor
- Click the "Choose File" button to browse and upload files from your computer
- Click Submit, if any text changes have been made
Note: Attachments are automatically saved when uploaded
How to Manage Access to Student Files
- Login to MySchoolWorx as an Administrator
- Click on your name in the top right corner
- Click Setup
- Click Academics in the left menu
- Click the bottom bar titled "Academic Settings"
- If you, as an Administrator, want your teachers to have the ability to access, read, download and edit the details and files of the students they teach, check the box, if not, leave the box unchecked.
Note: Student files are hidden from teachers by default.
How Teachers Access Student Files
- Login to MySchoolWorx as an Teacher
- Click on the student icon
- Click a student's name
- Click Resources in the left menu
- From here you, as a Teacher, can view and add text and files to a student's record
